The Buckeyes dropped 51 points while only allowing 10 to the Hoosiers.Quarterback Justin Fields was fantastic — 199 yards and three touchdowns. Running back J.K. Dobbins stole the show though with 193 yards on 22 carries with one touchdown.Ohio State fans loved Dobbins’ performance and effort. He even got praise from one of the most nationally recognized college football analysts.ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter to praise the Ohio State running back. .@Jkdobbins22 REAL DEAL!!— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) September 14, 2019Dobbins’ praise from analysts and fans everywhere is certainly deserved. Of his 193 rushing yards, 175 came in the first half. Given the game was already out of hand by halftime, Dobbins wasn’t necessarily needed. The Buckeyes are off to a stellar start in 2019. They now have wins over FAU, Cincinnati and Indiana. Things will get much tougher moving forward though.Ohio State still has to play games against Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State and of course, Michigan. The rest of the Buckeyes’ schedule is managable though.New head coach Ryan Day has been impressive since taking over for Urban Meyer. Many feared the program would struggle in their first year without Meyer. But it looks like things in Columbus are operating smoothly as usual.Dobbins is certainly playing like a potential Heisman candidate.
